Why did Jesus come when He came?

mega bubbleman

Bible Bubbles is a place for children to learn about the Bible!

Jesus  gave His life for us. Before Jesus came... the Hebrew people sacrificed lambs so God would forgive them for all their sinful behavior.

Jesus came to take the place of the lamb and become the Lamb of God.

Jesus allows Himself to sacrificed through a brutal crucifixion. It was very painful for Him.

So everyone needs God's forgiveness for their sin.

You don't need to sacrifice an animal now...you need to trust Jesus that He was sacrificed for you. He did die, but guess what...He came back to life! We celebrate this on the Easter Holiday.

You don't need to see Jesus, use Faith that He did this for you. Believe and talk to Him today.

A Child’s Prayer: Thank You, Jesus

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for coming to earth at just the right time.

You didn’t choose an easy time —

You chose a hard time, because You love us so much.

You let people hurt You and hang You on a cross,

Even though You did nothing wrong.

You suffered, and You bled,

So we could be forgiven and live forever with You.

I don’t want to ever forget what You did for me.

Please help me love You more and follow You every day.

Thank You for saving me.

I love You, Jesus.

Amen.

"The Two Paths: Caleb's Big Choice"

Characters:

Caleb – a curious boy who wants to do what’s right

Mom & Dad – loving parents who teach Caleb God’s ways

Whisper – a kind little dove who reminds Caleb of Bible truth

The Tempter – a sneaky voice that tries to lead Caleb astray

Scene 1: Learning Right and Wrong

Caleb sat at the kitchen table, swinging his legs as Mom read from the Bible.

“Remember, Caleb,” said Mom,

“God says, ‘Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.’”

    — Ephesians 6:1

Dad nodded. “We help you know right from wrong. But the choice is still yours.”

“You must choose for yourselves today whom you will serve…”

    — Joshua 24:15

Caleb thought for a moment. “What if I choose wrong?”

Mom smiled. “That’s why we ask God for help every day.”

“Lead me in Your truth and teach me…”

    — Psalm 25:5

Scene 2: The Temptation

Later that day, Caleb saw his sister’s candy on the counter.

Nobody was looking.

A little voice whispered:

“Take it. No one will know. You deserve it.”

Just then, a soft breeze rustled the curtains. Whisper the Dove landed on the windowsill.

“Caleb,” Whisper cooed, “what does God say?”

Caleb remembered:

“Do not steal.” — Exodus 20:15

“Even a child is known by his actions.” — Proverbs 20:11

Caleb’s heart beat fast.

He wanted the candy.

But more than that… he wanted to obey God.

Scene 3: The Good Choice

“I won’t take what’s not mine,” Caleb said aloud.

He ran to Mom. “I almost took something, but I didn’t. I chose to obey!”

Mom hugged him. “That’s what a strong heart looks like.”

“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”

    — Romans 12:21

That night, Caleb knelt by his bed.

“Dear God,

Thank You for helping me today.

Sometimes it’s hard to do the right thing.

Please help me choose Your way tomorrow too.

I want to follow You every day.

Amen.”

Boys and girls, every day you have choices to make. Some are easy, some are harder. When you want to please yourself instead of mom or dad or God, the choice is harder to make. You feel inside a strong desire to take what you want, say what you want, treat your brother or sister the way YOU WANT...and that choice may not be a good one.

Why do you get that feeling? You have inside you a SOUL and it helps you make decisions every day! It's where your feelings come from.

🌿 Psalm 23:3 (KJV)

“He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”

God cares for our inner life—our thoughts, emotions, and choices—and wants to guide and refresh our souls.

🌅 Psalm 42:11 (NIV)

“Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.”

Even when we feel troubled, our soul can find peace in God.

🙏 Deuteronomy 6:5 (ESV)

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.”

God wants us to love Him with every part of who we are.
